Overview Coordinates business and administrative support to
ensure operations of quality improvement and patient care for
Wellness Care Management program. Oversees the office activities
and assists department management in monitoring and evaluating
wellness process and services to ensure adherence to internal,
contractual and VNS Health operations and quality assurance
standards. Works under general supervision. What We Provide

Social Services Community of Professionals What You Will Do
- Reviews quality of all services and activities within the
Wellness Care Management Program, including client services,
administrative and support services. Oversees the development and
implementation of consumer satisfaction evaluation for the
program.
- Assures that the wellness process is thorough and comprehensive
and meets the requirement of the Wellness Care Program and
WeCARE.
- Participates in the research, identification and recommendation
of policies and procedures in response to identified programmatic
and client needs. Participates in the design of audit systems and
instruments to review all wellness process and services, including
but not limited to quality of documentation, timeliness of services
and completion, missed appointment or no shows.
- Oversees and coordinates the daily program activities to ensure
smooth operation and administration. Maintains calendar of
departmental activities and keeps management informed of
commitments.
- Collects data and prepares/distributes project related reports,
summaries, presentations, and documentation. Prepares a variety of
regular and ad hoc reports on t program activities and ensures
their distribution as appropriate. Investigates incidents and/or
unusual incidents within the program.
- Interview, hire, train and supervise the Wellness Operations/QA
Staff.
- Tracks department performance against its strategic
goals/objectives and keeps management informed of progress. Follows
up, as directed, with department management/staff to ensure goals
are achieved or exceeded.
- Coordinates departmental projects, prepares timelines/project
plans for management review and keeps staff informed of due
dates/deliverables. Follows-up with staff to ensure timely
completion and keeps management informed of status.
- Coordinates logistics for department meetings, orientation,
focus groups, training, etc. Enrolls participants, sends
notifications, prepares or oversees the preparation of agendas,
attendance rosters, materials/manuals, and makes arrangements for
facility set-up, equipment and supplies.
- Monitors department expenditures to ensure adherence to budget
and keeps management advised of problems. Prepares/submits check
requests, purchase orders and stock requisitions as needed.
- Monitors inventory of departmental supplies, advises management
of the need to reorder; completes appropriate forms, and follows-up
with vendor to ensure supplies are received in a timely
manner.
- Administers or coordinates the administration of assigned
department/Agency-wide programs (e.g., employee recognition,
awards, etc.) Procures program materials, negotiates with vendors,
coordinates and manages collections, as required
- Attends meetings as assigned, takes, formalizes and distributes
notes/minutes, and follows up to ensure new assignments/projects
are completed.
- Participates as assigned, in the hiring process by reviewing
resumes, screening candidates by telephone or in person, checking
references, etc. to ensure they meet minimum job requirements.
Orients new staff to program policies and procedures. Assigns work
to other department administrative staff as directed and monitors
progress to ensure completion.
- Conducts research, locates/summarizes/classifies/sorts data,
and prepares reports on findings
- Prepares original correspondence/communication material or
prepares them from notes provided by department management/staff
and ensures they are distributed in an accurate and timely
manner.
- Organizes/maintains departmental files and ensures their
confidentiality. Performs or oversees other administrative
activities (e.g., answering/screening/routing telephone calls,
filing, sorting/distributing mail, etc.)
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as
assigned
- Qualifications Education:
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Social Work or related
discipline or the equivalent work experience preferredWork
Experience:
- Minimum of four years or experience in program administration
and general administration required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, customer service, and oral/written
computation skills required
- Advanced proficiency with personal computer software, including
MS Office products required
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and experience in
the delivery of program services in a community based or healthcare
organization preferred Compensation $62,400.00 - $72,000.00 Annual
