Job Description Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well?established organization in the Iselin, NJ area is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 6?month contract engagement. This individual will support the finance team by managing the full AR cycle, performing high?volume collections activities, and contributing to accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone with strong AR expertise who thrives in a fast?paced environment. Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist (6?Month Contract) Location: Iselin, NJ Salary: $30-$35/hr. Schedule: Full?time, 6?month contract (potential for extension) Key Responsibilities Manage end?to?end Accounts Receivable processes including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections. Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on delinquent accounts to reduce DSO. Resolve payment discrepancies, billing disputes, and chargebacks. Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports and assist with month?end close activities. Maintain accurate customer account records in the ERP system. Partner cross?functionally with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to troubleshoot customer issues. Recommend and support AR process improvements and workflow enhancements. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Qualifications Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 5 years of AR or Credit/Collections experience required. Strong knowledge of AR processes, account reconciliations, and cash application. Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle a high?volume workload.
