Position Summary: The Senior Analyst will immediately contribute to a new and exciting team within the Office of the CFO, responsible for identifying and delivering on opportunities to drive growth in revenue and profitability. The Senior Analyst will have substantial exposure to senior leaders within Finance & Accounting and across the Company. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: Build and maintain complex excel-based financial models to support strategic opportunities including M&A, organic growth opportunities, and pricing strategies. Complete detailed analytics to assess operational and financial metrics and across key value drivers. Leverage financial, strategic, and operational factors to assess profitability and other metrics across products, geographies, and Lines of Business Develop financial models and cost projections. Collaborate with the senior management team or the CFO on achieving company’s long-term financial planning objective. Conduct in-depth research of historical financial data; analyze and report company’s current financial status. Compare actual results with forecasted to analyze and identify areas of strengths and weaknesses. Provide recommendations based on analysis results to improve outcomes. Support M&A diligence Leverage, interpret, and summarize large datasets including external market data, internal revenue details and item-level cost detail to help solve problems and inform enterprise strategic initiatives. Conduct deep dive reviews of specific product lines, suppliers, referral partners, payors, and geographies to help determine and prioritize opportunities for growth, margin expansion, and/or cost savings. Leverage SQL queries and data models to quickly analyze ad-hoc data from various platforms. Provide critical thought to help drive strategic decisions and make recommendations to senior management. Maintains patient confidentiality and functions within the guidelines of HIPAA. Author reports to summarize testing activities, including descriptions of goals, planning, scheduling, execution, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations. Develop and maintain working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company. Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required. Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program. Performs other related duties as assigned. Competency, Skills, and Abilities: Financial acumen and strong financial modeling capabilities. Mental alertness and the ability to properly treat confidential information. Proficient computer skills with strong Excel and Microsoft Office products along with SQL knowledge. Requirements Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree is required with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2 years in a role that necessitated strong data analysis, especially in investment banking, management consulting or similar. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work environment will be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate. Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods of time. Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen. Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers due to extensive computer use. Metal ability to lead others and change processes in a fast-paced work environment. Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed. Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. May be exposed to angry or irate customers or patients. Must be able to travel as needed. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with internal and external customers with the ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy.
