Job Description:
Capital Formation Associate Pantera Capital is the first
institutional investment firm focused exclusively on bitcoin, other
digital currencies, and companies in the blockchain tech ecosystem.
Pantera launched the first cryptocurrency fund in the United States
in 2013. The firm subsequently launched the first
exclusively-blockchain venture fund. In 2017, Pantera was the first
firm to offer an early-stage token fund. Pantera manages $3.5bn
across three strategies – passive, hedge, and venture – exclusively
focused on bitcoin, other digital currencies, and companies in the
blockchain tech ecosystem. We are seeking to expand our sales
execution team by adding a Capital Formation Associate to support
our global sales team and marketing efforts. The candidate will
play a key role in fundraising Pantera Capital’s funds. This
position requires a seasoned professional with experience in
capital formation and marketing efforts in the alternative
investments space. This role requires presence at least four days a
week in our New York office or traveling for business.
Responsibilities: Assist in the planning, logistics, and follow-up
for investor conferences, roadshows, and group events. Maintain
accurate and up-to-date records of investor and prospect
information within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce). Coordinate
schedules, travel, and materials for team participation in industry
events. Schedule and manage logistics for investor calls, internal
sales meetings, and team syncs. Research attendee lists and
background on key prospects or LPs to maximize meeting impact.
Support the creation, coordination, and execution of investor
mailing campaigns, including fund updates, newsletters, and
marketing materials. Liaise with marketing, investor relations, and
fund operations teams to ensure alignment on messaging, branding,
and reporting. Assist with ad hoc projects, data requests, and
reporting needs from senior leadership. Qualifications: 2-4 years
of experience in institutional capital raising, with a proven track
record of success. Experience in private equity, venture or hedge
funds a plus. Strong academic background at a highly ranked school.
Exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Extensive knowledge of hedge fund strategies and analytical
methodologies is advantageous. Must be a self-starter who has
proven ability to cultivate relationships and help improve overall
client relationship process/structure. Attention to detail and
concern for quantitative accuracy. Excellent personnel and project
management skills Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word,
PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM systems. Experience with Salesforce and
HubSpot is a plus. Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 USD
*Compensation range is provided as an estimate and will be
determined based on the candidate's experience and
qualifications.
