Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and
detail-oriented Scheduling Dispatcher to manage the scheduling and
coordination of installations and service requests. The ideal
candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient
dispatching of technicians, tracking project progress, and
maintaining clear communication with both customers and internal
teams. Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are
essential in this role, as the dispatcher will be responsible for
maintaining accurate records, schedules, and reports. Key
Responsibilities: Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate the
scheduling of installation and service appointments for multiple
projects. Assign and dispatch technicians based on project needs,
location, and crew availability. Prioritize urgent or high-priority
service calls to ensure timely resolution. Communication &
Coordination: Maintain clear communication with technicians and
customers to ensure seamless operations. Confirm appointments with
customers and inform them of any changes or delays. Provide
customers with estimated arrival times and any other necessary
information regarding services. Tracking & Documentation: Monitor
and track the status of ongoing projects, ensuring that crews are
on schedule. Update internal systems with accurate and timely
information about job status, completion, and issues. Maintain and
file all relevant documentation for project timelines, dispatch
schedules, and service requests. Problem Solving: Resolve any
scheduling conflicts, delays, or logistical issues that may arise.
Proactively address and manage customer concerns or complaints to
ensure satisfaction. Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular reports
to management on job status, crew performance, and other relevant
metrics. Assist in tracking and monitoring inventory levels and
equipment. Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and maintain
detailed spreadsheets related to project scheduling, team
assignments, and performance tracking. Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree
in construction management or related field is a plus). Proven
experience in dispatching, construction, or a related field
(preferred). Strong organizational skills and ability to manage
multiple tasks simultaneously with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must, including creating and
maintaining complex spreadsheets, tracking data, and generating
reports. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while
maintaining a customer-focused approach. Strong problem-solving
abilities and quick decision-making skills. Benefits: Employer paid
