We are seeking qualified adjunct clinical instructors to teach on a
per diem basis in the Center for Clinical Learning. We incorporate
simulation and technology in a variety of simulation based
experiences throughout the year.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
o Minimum master's degree in nursing or nursing education.
o Doctoral degree in nursing or related discipline preferred.
o Current clinical experience and licensure or eligibility for RN
licensure in New Jersey required.
o Effective interpersonal relationships and the ability to promote
student and program success in a team environment required.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Must possess leadership, coaching, and team building skills to
foster supportive working relationships with students, staff,
faculty, and community stakeholders.
o Must be able to work independently, problem solve and make
decisions using strategic and analytical thinking.
o Technology experience required.
o Flexibility regarding campus and site locations as well as
scheduled hours.
o Teaching experience preferred.
o Simulation experience is helpful, but not necessary.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
o Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
o Must be able to carry or roll equipment weighing up to 35
pounds.
Overview
Rutgers School of Nursing is one of eight schools that make up
Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS). As part of RBHS, the
School of Nursing offers unique opportunities in education,
research, and practice at a leading national research university,
which is the state's preeminent, comprehensive public institution
of higher education.
Simulation based experiences are offered for bachelor's, master's,
and DNP programs at campus locations in Newark, New Brunswick, and
Blackwood, NJ. Successful candidates will implement best practices
in nursing education, collaborate with faculty, evaluate students'
clinical performance, maintain inventory, set up, participate in,
and break down scheduled clinical learning experiences, in addition
to other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Director of
the Center of Clinical Learning.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and
Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective
employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against
COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University
has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to
receive an updated (bivalent) vaccine dose. Under Policy 100.3.1
Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will
