Job Description Job Description Start Date: June 8, 2026 Rate: $17.00 per hour Sign-On Bonus: $500.00 (for new hires only, paid after 90 days of employment) Location: Colonial School-Age Programs Schedule: Part-time, Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Ready to dive into having fun while helping kids grow and shine? Wonderspring is looking for a Lifeguard to join our team at our Colonial School-Age Program! You'll start by supporting our school-age summer camp aquatics programming. Become part of an organization that not only values FUN but also focuses on developing your skills and talents. What You’ll Get to Do (and Have Fun Doing!) Aquatic Program Supervise and ensure the safety of all children during scheduled swim sessions and aquatic fitness activities. Enforce water safety rules and emergency procedures at all times. Deliver basic water safety instruction and support children of varying swim abilities. Conduct daily checks of pool equipment and maintain cleanliness of the aquatic area. Respond quickly and effectively to any aquatic emergencies. Your Special Skills & Qualities High School Diploma or GED required; CDA preferred. Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross) is required. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies. Must meet all DHS requirements, including current clearances (PA State Police, Child Abuse, FBI, NSOR) and a Health Assessment with TB test.
