Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An excellent opportunity is available for dedicated
Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in a vibrant
school setting in Salem, OR. This full-time, onsite contract
position offers the chance to work closely with students who have
diverse developmental, behavioral, and communication needs across
multiple grade levels. Responsibilities include: Managing
classrooms with students requiring varied support including
developmental, behavioral, ASD, and communication interventions.
Collaborating with teaching assistants to deliver individualized
instruction and behavioral strategies. Supporting students in
resource settings across elementary and middle school levels.
Creating and implementing appropriate education plans in line with
students needs. Coordinating with staff across multiple sites
within close proximity, when applicable. There are six openings
available for: Elementary Developmental classes (approximately 15
students, 6 teaching assistants). Elementary Behavior classes
serving grades 3-5 (16 students, 5 teaching assistants). Middle
School Resource rooms (40 students, 2 shared assistants).
Elementary Resource roles covering two nearby sites (35 students, 1
assistant per building). Middle School Behavior classes (15
students, 5 assistants). Qualifications: Active Special Education
teaching certification/license valid for Oregon. Preparedness to
provide contact information for the most recent supervisor for
reference verification. Strong commitment to supporting students
with special needs and ability to collaborate effectively with
educational teams. This contract position runs from ASAP through
June 5, 2026, with a standard 37.5-hour work week. To pursue this
