Job Summary: The Sr Director, HR Business Partner (Sr. Director HRPB) is responsible for co-developing and co-executing human resource strategy supporting Avet's overall business plan and strategic direction. The incumbent will focus specifically on succession planning, talent/performance management, talent acquisition, benefits, payroll, and compensation.Reporting directly to the CHRO, the Sr. Director, HRPB at Avet supervises all human resource operations and ensures that those are executed smoothly and effectively.This position is located at the Company's East Brunswick, NJ location.*Reporting Relationships*This position is directly responsible for providing direction to the work of HR personnel, including HR administration, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and HR Compliance, and providing guidance on day-to-day HR aspects.*Essential Functions: **Working in a team environment, the incumbent is responsible for establishing and implementing HR efforts that effectively communicate and support Avet's goals and objectives, emphasizing the manufacturing areas.

  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
  • Work with Avet's CHRO and the HR team to establish a sound management succession plan that corresponds to the organization's strategy, growth, and particular needs.
  • Co-develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
  • Co-develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.*Specialized Skills and Knowledge: **Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
    • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software*Key Competencies: **BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred
      • A minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least five years of high-level leadership HR experience. Manufacturing and pharma experience is a plus.*Physical Demands/Factors: **Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
