Expectations from the role:As key member of the US team, the main responsibility of the E-Commerce manager is to develop and grow Strides Consumer business online. This will include Amazon, retailer.com as well as creating and managing D2C sites. This person should be willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires strong decision-making skills, initiative, flexibility, and adaptability. Must prioritize and implement new online business initiatives such as new platform development, new assortment recommendation and creation, E-Commerce budget allocation and management. They will be asked to monitor and analyze E-Commerce sales trends and key performance indicators to be able to develop strategies to increase traffic and maximize ROAS with our agency partners. This position will report to the Director of Sales North America with a dotted line to head of Marketing. Key Responsibilities / Outcomes:

  • Set growth strategy and sustainable plan to build distribution with existing and new e-commerce customers
  • Successfully model with agency partners and manage a D2C sales platform for JointFlex and NiteThru
  • Establish revenue goals by brand, by channel, with supporting metrics and reporting inclusive of E-Commerce forecasting, as it feeds into overall monthly/annual sales forecasts
  • Manage E-Commerce marketing support budget and identify opportunities for increased or reallocation of investment
    • Develop our CRM strategies, potentially including email, reviews, loyalty & rewards, to help drive increase acquisition, retention, engagement, and purchase rate goals
      • Work with internal partners to create and maintain an annual content calendar for optimized conversion on site
      • Work cross functionally to create online product assortment and content, optimizing listings for all marketplaces, with goal of maximizing online presence and driving sales
      • Ensure that content is up to date on Amazon and all retailer.com sites in partnership with agency partners. Perform regular content audits to determine gaps and opportunities for search optimization
        • Gather and review E-Commerce metrics, including digital/social/content performance, analyze, draw conclusions and report recommended actions and continuously help optimize strategies and programs to drive sales, increase customer retention, and improve ROI
        • Manage Amazon.com Seller Central, including stock levels, placing inventory orders, price promotions and unit level PnL maintenance
          • Partner with Supply team to manage inventory and warehouse logistics of E-Commerce specific SKUs
          • Research and monitor competitive listings and pricing and present in aggregated manner for executive insights - looking for emerging trends and insights Key stakeholder interaction:
            • Internal - Director of Sales, Marketing Manager North America
            • External - Orca Pacific Agency, Emerson E-Commerce team, Emerson logistics team, Emerson key retailer teams, Flynn creative agency and Cage Point media agency Personality and background:
              • Overall years of experience - 2-5
              • Industry preferred - CPG, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce
              • Education background preferred - BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Sales
              • Leadership experience in any area - supply planning and inventory management
              • Geography exposure - N/A
              • Essential skill set required - E-commerce experience; Marketplace experience a plus, demonstrable success in managing account or business, data analytics and reporting, understanding of digital marketing a plus but not required
              • Interpersonal skills required - project management, vendor management, strong written and verbal communication skills,
              • Other soft skills - knowledge of web and emerging technologies, ability to operate independently and bring new and fresh ideas to the table, savvy communicator, natural team player and comfortable in multi-cultural setting, highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
