Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated
Assistant Production Manager to join our team and learn under our
existing Production Manager for our university client. The ideal
candidate will have a working knowledge of landscape maintenance
and horticulture, as well as fluency in both English and Spanish.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate
effectively with various departments within the university are
essential for success in this role. Responsibilities: Assist the
Production Manager in overseeing daily ground maintenance
operations for the university Learn and execute best practices in
turf management and horticulture to ensure the health and beauty of
the campus landscape Communicate regularly with university
representatives, including athletics, academics facilities, and
admissions, to address their specific needs and requirements Work
closely with the production team to schedule and coordinate
maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks Monitor
equipment and supplies inventory, reporting any shortages or
maintenance issues to the Production Manager Provide leadership and
guidance to crew members, fostering a positive and collaborative
work environment Assist with training and development of team
members, focusing on safety protocols and efficient work practices
Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop and implement
improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency

members Qualifications: Working knowledge of turf management and
horticulture, with experience in grounds maintenance operations
preferred Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to
effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders Strong
interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build
rapport and trust with team members and university representatives
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the
ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and
collaborate with others Valid driver's license and reliable
transportation Ability to work outdoors in various weather
conditions and perform physical tasks as needed Benefits: This
