Description:-Minimum of 2 years experience as a CMA -Experience with administering injections1. Patient care responsibilities as assigned that may include checking schedules and organizing patient flow; accompanying patients to exam room; refilling medication per provider's instructions/orders; collecting patient history; assisting providers/nurses with various procedures; charting patient information per company documentation standards; explaining treatment and procedures to patients; relaying instructions to patients/families; answering patient calls for triage and providing pertinent information.2. Perform clerical responsibilities as assigned that may include sending/receiving patient medical records; obtaining lab/diagnostic reports, hospital notes, etc.; completing forms/requisitions as needed; and updating charts to ensure that information is complete and filed out appropriately.3. Fulfills environmental responsibilities as assigned that may include setting up equipment according to department protocols; cleaning exam rooms and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control; ordering, sorting and storing supplies; and restocking exam rooms.4. Fulfills organizational responsibilities as assigned including respecting/promoting patient rights; responding appropriately to emergency codes; communicating concerns relating to patients and/or staff with immediate supervisor.5.
