Osprey Hospice - Osprey Hospice has openings for home health aides to join our growing team. - The Hospice Aide is the face of the Agency and one of the most vital members of the care team. - An Osprey aide is the best of the best. - Our salary range is competitive and negotible. - Aides work in concert with the nurses, social worker, chaplain and physician to provide superior hospice care to our clients. - Candidates are tasked with helping patients with personal hygiene, housekeeping, and other daily needs as required by the patient.
To excel in this role you should have an interest in health care and the ability to work with limited supervision; always keeping the patient's needs as your top priority. - Aides support patients and families with gentle, kind and compassionate care during difficult times. - -
Responsibilities:

Helping patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
Helping with general light housekeeping.
Working together with nurses, other caregivers and families.
Observing and reporting on patient's condition.
Completing required in-service training in a timely manner.
Completing daily charting within 24 hours of shift.

Requirements:

New Jersey HHA Certification
High school diploma or GED.
Reliable personal transportation.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to provide references.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Have good personal hygiene.
Able to do light housekeeping.
Minimal computer skills needed.
Fluency in languages other than English a plus
