• Obtains and records vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, pulse oximeter), weight, height, intake and output and informs the Registered Nurse of findings.
• ---Prepares patient for examination and/or special procedures and remains with patient during procedure if needed.
• ---Observes patient's condition, mental state and social behavior and report observations to the Registered Nurse.
• Prepares patient for meals and assists with feeding if necessary. Distributes nutritional supplements to patients and records on Intake & Output sheet.
• Assists and accompanies patient in admitting, discharges and transfer processes, assuring comfort and safety.
• Assist patient in activities of daily living.
• ---Transports and accompanies patient to and from unit when necessary.
• Keeps unit, utility rooms, treatment rooms and storage rooms in a neat and orderly condition.
• All other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from elementary school.
