Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a state of the art health care system in Morristown, NJ. Job Function: Night Shift. 3x12: 7pm - 7am. Reviews data in-patient record, including admission and current R.C. orders, patient history, physical exam, PFT values, ABG results, and laboratory data. Set up and maintain respiratory equipment as instructed; Attends department meetings and in-services as instructed. Performs patient assessment in order to monitor effects of therapy provided and documents this assessment in the patient chart. Conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures to achieve and maintain adequate oxygenation, a patent's airway, including maintenance of adequate humidification. Job Requirements: 3 years of clinical experience. Active RRT Respiratory Therapist license. Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). BLS certification required. Experience in adult critical care and pediatrics required.
