Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – CATH LAB Location: Hackensack, NJ - 07601 Schedule: Evenings | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 5x8 hour shifts/week Contract Duration: 13 Weeks On-Call: Required (rotation may vary based on staffing and unit needs) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab team for a 13-week contract. The RN will evaluate patients, assist physicians during procedures, and deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care in a dynamic and high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate patients and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. - Develop and implement individualized care plans through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care throughout the procedural cycle. - Function as the intra-procedural RN—documenting, administering medications, and circulating during minimally invasive procedures such as LHC and PCI. - Provide support and care during advanced device-assisted interventions (e.g., IABP, Impella, Shockwave, atherectomy devices). - Advocate for evidence-based practices and contribute to ongoing improvements in care delivery. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation aligned with clinical priorities and standards of care. - Perform duties in alignment with professional nursing practice and organizational values. - Additional duties as assigned by leadership. Required Qualifications: - Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) - Active RN license in New Jersey (or valid multi-state compact license) - BLS certification (AHA) - ACLS certification (AHA) - Telemetry certification - Must have prior Cath Lab RN experience - Must be able to perform intra-procedural documentation, medication administration, and circulator duties Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Critical care experience - Experience with EPIC and Sensis documentation systems - Familiarity with advanced interventional equipment: IABP, Impella, Shockwave, atherectomy devices - Experience with vascular and/or neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures Pride Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto ,home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
