Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Holmdel, NJ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,060 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of acute care experience required. License: Current and valid Respiratory Care license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Must-Have: Vent management, ability to perform ABGs, high acuity experience, flexibility with schedule. Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides and administers all aspects of respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment as stated in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual. Responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy under medical direction, including education, treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. The therapist will assist with intubation and manage ventilators. Gathering necessary information to evaluate patient needs, including disease education and consultations with healthcare professionals, is essential. Developing a rapport and mutual respect with patients, caregivers, and team members to foster an optimal environment for achieving goals is expected. Documentation of education provided to patients and caregivers based on identified needs is required. Other duties and projects as assigned are part of the role. Adherence to organizational competencies and standards of behavior is crucial. Lifting a minimum of 5 lbs., pushing and pulling a minimum of 5 lbs., and standing for a minimum of 1 hour daily is necessary. The position requires regular contact with medical personnel and visitors. A willingness to work every other weekend and holidays, and to be on-call at least once weekly is a requirement. Candidates must be highly reliable and prioritize the schedule. Alternative jobs that interfere with this schedule are not permitted.
