Hepatology Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an
Board–Certified Transplant Hepatologist. The ideal candidate would
possess exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills to join our
team at the LVHN–Cedar Crest Campus in Allentown, PA. The Liver
Transplant Program at Lehigh Valley Health Network is a new
extension of our existing Multiorgan Transplant Program. This
program will include a dedicated liver cancer program and clinic,
an NIH supported liver research center and a biorepository. Live
donor liver transplantation will also be part of the program in
short order. It has clinical research support and strong hospital
support for marketing and outreach. Given these resources, this is
a high–profile position within the medical center and nationally.
The candidate would work in tandem with other transplant
hepatologists in the network. The new medical director will also
work very closely with Chief of Transplant Surgery and a group of
exceptionally qualified surgeons and APC’s to support the
transplant program. Some features of our LVHN Transplant Program
are: The Multiorgan Program has over 30 years of experience It
houses a high–volume kidney and pancreas program, with liver
program in development. It will be the only Liver Transplant
program in the greater Lehigh Valley Region It sports a robust
living donor kidney program. It has a highly functioning minimally
invasive/robotic donor and recipient programs. It has considerable
Advanced Practitioner resources. Join a team of unmatched surgical

prestigious medical journals. Our LVHN surgeons perform over 85,000
surgeries every year – 25 percent more than other centers in the

Ambassador for Liver Transplant with a passion for innovation
Current PA state Medical License or ability to obtain a PA state
Medical License Post Fellowship experience in clinical transplant
Hepatology is desired. Candidate must meet UNOS criteria as a
primary physician of a Liver Transplant Program preferred.
