We’re currently seeking a part-time Diagnostic Technologist to support our Pain Management team. This role offers approximately 20 hours per week, with no weekends or holidays required—perfect for professionals seeking work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct advanced imaging procedures with minimal supervision. - Support QA, regulatory testing, and research initiatives. - Operate specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro Procedures) and perform EKGs and lab draws as needed. - Monitor and maintain quality control standards. - Provide exceptional patient care using the latest protocols. - Cover off-shifts, on-call duties, and satellite locations as needed. - Collaborate with Radiologists on protocol development. - Mentor and train staff and student technologists. - Participate in system-wide standardization efforts. Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology. 2 years Diagnostic experience required for the Advanced level technologist. Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT certified in Radiography. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. - ARRT Certificate - Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal - Act 33 with renewal - Act 34 with renewal - Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
