Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled professional is needed to support cardiac services in a cath lab environment, ensuring safety and accuracy in all procedures. This contract role requires expertise in imaging and cath lab technology, with demonstrated ability to operate and maintain technical equipment and supplies, including x-ray and film processing systems. The candidate will play a vital role in patient care, assisting in preparation, procedure, and education while ensuring comfort, safety, and minimal patient concerns. Key Responsibilities: - Safely assist with cardiac catheterization and related procedures, including LHC, RHC, PTCA, STENT, PTCRA, PTMR, TEC. - Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain cath lab imaging equipment and supplies. - Obtain, calculate, and analyze hemodynamic data accurately. - Maintain complete procedural logs, technical notations, and proper documentation including X-ray requisitions and film labeling. - Prepare procedure rooms and organize supplies, ensuring turnover times within 15 minutes. - Adhere to aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout invasive procedures. - Verify patient identification and consents prior to procedures. - Manage cine films handling, including mailing and retrieval. - Identify and report equipment issues and safety hazards promptly. Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Proven experience in cath lab technology and cardiac imaging. - Familiarity with cardiac catheterization systems and troubleshooting. - Ability to maintain meticulous records and perform calculations related to hemodynamics. - Certification as a Monitor Technician or similar credential preferred. - Strong communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with cardiologists. - Demonstrated attention to detail and safety protocol adherence.
