Jersey Shore Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team in providing exceptional post-acute care and rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will assist in daily patient care, ensuring that all procedures follow our high standards of personalized healthcare. This role requires a compassionate professional focused on supporting therapies and treatments to promote patient recovery and well-being. As a CMA at Jersey Shore Post Acute, you will work directly under the supervision of healthcare professionals to implement patient care plans, administer medications, and contribute to the recovery process. Assist in examining and treating patients under the direction of a physician Administer medications and injections as prescribed Record patient information and vital signs Update and maintain all digital client records and assist in the coordination of patient care Execute minor medical operations Prepare patients for examinations and treatments Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain a high standard of patient care Educate patients on post-treatment and rehabilitative care Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure Demonstrable multitasking and analytical skills High level of professionalism and teamwork Familiarity with medical software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
