Job Description:
Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a
dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team, focusing
on providing top-tier skilled nursing care and comprehensive
rehabilitation services. In this vital role, the LPN will work
directly under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Physicians,
administering nursing care to our residents in accordance with
established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will
possess a passion for geriatric care, demonstrate exceptional
clinical skills, and support our commitment to promoting wellness
and recovery for all residents. Monitor, record, and report
symptoms or changes in patient's conditions. Administer prescribed
medication, change wound dressings, operate medical equipment, and
monitor patient recovery and rehabilitation progress. Collaborate
with registered nurses to create and evaluate customized care
plans. Maintain accurate patient records and prepare reports on
data relevant to patient treatment. Advocate for the needs of
patients and offer guidance to patients and their families
regarding treatment plans. Implement infection control practices
and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Strong clinical
skills and a foundation in patient care Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive situations with
empathy and care Efficient in time management, able to multitask
effectively in a dynamic environment Knowledge of healthcare
regulations and safety standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in
the state of practice CPR/BLS certification
