Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is
seeking a Student Assistant for the Department of Urban-Global
Public Health within the School of Public Health ( SPH ) located in
Newark, NJ. The Student Assistant will serve as an assistant on a
Peer-to-Peer degree marketing pilot project. Student will be
responsible for promoting a specific Rutgers School of Public
Health degree to various peer audiences by providing information on
the degree, personal experiences, and ways to learn more. Duties
include: Serve as a student ambassador for pre-identified Rutgers
School of Public Health degrees and programs across online and
community-based forums. Engage authentically in relevant digital
spaces (i.e., subreddits, social media groups, virtual communities)
to share experiences and answer questions about the program.
Promote program highlights, application deadlines, events, and
student life in a peer-to-peer tone Overview New Jersey’s academic
health center, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences ( RBHS )
takes an integrated approach to educating students, providing
clinical care, and conducting research, all with the goal of
