We are looking for dedicated drivers who are enthusiastic about making transportation more accessible, efficient, and sustainable. As a Via driver, you will utilize our cutting-edge mobile app to pick up multiple passengers who share similar routes, providing a friendly and safe driving experience. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about community service, enjoy meeting new people, and are committed to promoting eco-friendly transportation solutions. Safely transport passengers to and from their destinations using Via's mobile app. Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound vehicle at all times. Adhere to all traffic and city regulations as well as company policies. Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism. Handle fares and transactions as necessary. Assist passengers with boarding and departing the vehicle, ensuring safety and comfort. Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using mobile apps and GPS devices. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations. Medical Insurance Valid driver’s license specific to Bergen County or state regulations. Satisfactory driving record. Completion of a defensive driving course is preferred.
