The Software Engineer will provide application design guidance and
consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable
technology, tools and existing designs for CEO Trade. This Software
Engineer will act as a tech lead, providing technical guidance and
consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering
Managers for their technology domain environments including but not
limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications,
Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, coding,
testing, debugging and document programs using Agile development
practices. They will be providing the strategy and design for
projects associated with their technology domain including,
upgrades and deployments. Utilizing advanced technologies and
methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology
domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous
environments.
In this role, you will: Lead moderately complex initiatives and
deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
associated with technology domain, including upgrades and
deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an
in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing
client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid
understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance
requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level
managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and
direction to less experienced staff
Responsible for implementing DevOps, CI/CD practices and tools such
as UDeploy, Jenkins, Gradle or Maven and PCF (Pivotal Cloud
Foundry) environment
Required Qualifications, US: 2+ years of Software Engineering
experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination
of the following: work experience, training, military experience,
education
2+ Java development experience
2+ years of Database experience
2+ years of J2EE
Desired Qualifications: 1+ year of Agile experience
2+ years of Hibernate experience
2+ years of MQ Series Messaging experience
2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing
framework
1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience
Job Expectations: Ability to work on call as assigned
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
Pay Range
$30.58 - $54.33 Hourly
