We are Optimum! Job Summary Altice USA is a leading provider of
Mobile, Broadband (DOCSIS, Fiber) and Video services in the United
States. The Product Development organization is responsible for the
technology enablement and development of these technologies for our
customers along with the tools used by our teams to support them.
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Manager of
Software Engineering to lead and inspire our talented engineering
team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background
in service-based architecture, outstanding leadership skills, and a
passion for delivering innovative software solutions for Frontend
applications (Mobile and Web). In this role, you will lead the
development and execution of our technology roadmap to create the
most scalable and optimized Frontend services for our customers and
field technicians. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams
and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet both
customer needs and business objectives. Responsibilities Lead and
mentor a team of software engineers, encouraging learning,
innovation, and collaboration. Continue to make Altice a Developer
Friendly Environment. Owns 2 scrums with accountability for the
results. Go-to advocate for Frontend services in the organization.
Prioritize and eliminate technical debt. Use prototypes and proof
of concepts as the primary for deep and detailed explorations of
architecture and software designs. Set the technical direction for
Frontend services, applying best practices and innovative
solutions. Identify and drive process improvements to enhance the
development lifecycle. Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and
secure code across repositories. Design and deliver scalable,
reliable, and secure software solutions that align with technical
and business goals. Lead the development and maintenance of APIs
for mobile and web applications. Ensure smooth communication and
teamwork between engineering, product, and business teams. Set
clear goals, provide feedback, and promote a growth-oriented
culture. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a
related field. Completely comfortable working with live production
systems, debugging issues and taking careful actions with
protections against damage. Experience working in an Agile
development environment. Experience managing software development
projects, including scoping, planning, and execution. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding
creative solutions to complex challenges. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills, with the ability to tailor
communication to different audiences. Proven ability to lead and
inspire engineering teams, foster collaboration, and drive results.
Experience with Google cloud and its capabilities. Proficiency in
programming languages (Go and Java) Minimum 8 years of professional
software development experience, including 3 years in a leadership

rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location
is $133,661.00 - $219,586.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein
is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect
future job opportunity.
