Description We are seeing a Product Owner with deep experience within underwriting and strong product knowledge to lead the delivery of solutions that enhance product workflows within our Small Business division. Reporting to the Vice President of API / Sub-Domain Lead Marketplace Cyber and Financial Lines, you will closely collaborate with our engineering and business teams to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable improvements. Success in this role involves strategically prioritizing workflows and fostering collaboration to ensure timely delivery of stakeholder requests. In this role, you will: Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that align with the product vision and roadmap Coordinate with business users to finalize and approve requirements, effectively managing and prioritizing changes based on evolving business needs Develop compelling presentations and research reports to distill key insights for stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making Create and review test cases, collaborating with business stakeholders and end users to ensure successful user acceptance testing Actively lead sprint planning and reviews, ensuring engineering and development teams remain on track with assignments Drive efficient and timely delivery of objectives, contributing to the overall success of projects Support the entire project lifecycle, from inception through user acceptance and deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure focus on high-impact initiatives Please note that this position requires working one Saturday per month following business releases. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree A minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in P&C insurance (underwriting and product background is preferred) Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, maintains thorough attention to detail Ability to deliver efficient and creative solutions in a fast-paced environment with limited resources and minimal supervision Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively The pay range for the role is $135,000 to $165,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
