Successful Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of Personal Injury Litigation experience, as you will be managing a caseload from start to finish. Ideal Candidates will have expertise in New York CPLR, coupled with a history of successful depositions as well as achieving maximum values in settlements that can contribute to the firm's mission of providing unwavering support to those who need it most. This position is on-site at the firm’s Queens, NY office. Responsibilities will include: Managing and overseeing a caseload, ensuring cases progress seamlessly from inception to trial Conducting and taking depositions with precision and thoroughness Working up cases for trial Settling cases efficiently Diligently working files and keeping clients apprised regularly Leveraging your knowledge of the New York CPLR and litigation to navigate cases effectively Advocating passionately on behalf of the injured, consistently delivering exceptional results for clients through strategic legal representation Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 5 years of Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation experience Must have a New York State Bar membership and state license to practice law in good standing Must have a solid understanding of personal injury law/tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, and NY CPLR Must have conducted over 75 depositions and Trial Experience a plus Must have the ability to manage a high-volume caseload Must have superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills Must be diligent and Responsible Must have computer proficiency, SmartAdvocate familiarity is a plus promote
