Job Description Job Description Direct Counsel is seeking a Real
Estate Litigation Associate Attorney to join a growing team in
Parsippany, NJ. Location: Parsippany, NJ About the Role This
position is ideal for an associate attorney with at least 2 years
of New Jersey litigation experience , preferably in real estate or
complex commercial litigation. The associate will work on a wide
range of matters including commercial lease disputes, foreclosures,
contract disputes, title issues, landlord/tenant matters,
construction litigation, zoning appeals, and prerogative writ
actions. Key Responsibilities Draft and argue pleadings, motions,
and briefs. Handle complex real estate and commercial disputes,
including prerogative writ actions. Conduct depositions and appear
in court as needed. Manage day-to-day case activities, including
discovery, legal research, and trial preparation. Provide guidance
on New Jersey land-use, zoning, affordable housing, and
redevelopment laws (preferred). Collaborate with team members in a
hybrid work environment (remote 2 days per week). Qualifications
J.D. and admission to practice in New Jersey (dual admission in New
York is a plus). Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in New
Jersey. Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication
skills. Courtroom advocacy experience and familiarity with New
Jersey state courts. Ability to manage complex cases and prioritize
multiple projects. Self-motivated, resourceful, and collaborative.
Appellate clerkship experience is a plus. Compensation Anticipated
annual salary: $180,000 – $210,000 , depending on experience and
qualifications. Hybrid work schedule with flexibility for remote
