Job Description:
SourcePro Search is conducting a search for an experienced
attorney for a prominent law firm specializing in Elder Law and
Estate Planning to join one of their offices in Nassau or Suffolk
County, New York. This is a full-time, in-office position. Solid
work-life balance with no billable hours (flat fee basis). What
You’ll Do: · Provide expert legal counsel to clients, guiding them
through estate planning complexities to safeguard and manage their
assets. · Offer comprehensive legal advice in the areas of elder
law, estate planning, and administration. · Draft and review legal
documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare
directives, and other estate planning instruments. · Represent
clients in probate and estate administration proceedings. ·
Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations pertinent to elder law and
estate planning for individuals and businesses. · Assist clients in
understanding and navigating Medicaid eligibility and application
processes. · Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal staff
while managing individual caseloads. · Stay informed about the
latest legal developments and changes in elder law, estate
planning, and Medicaid rules. · Cultivate and maintain strong
client relationships, delivering regular updates and exceptional
customer service. What You’ll Bring: · Expertise in elder law,
estate planning, and administration. · Profound knowledge of New
York State Bar and Medicaid requirements. · Minimum of 2 years of
experience in the legal industry, with a focus on elder law and
estate planning. · Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law
school. · Extensive familiarity with Medicaid eligibility and
application processes. · Proven track record in estate
administration. · Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
· Ability to interpret complex laws and regulations. Additional
