Our client, a dynamic player in the procurement industry, is seeking a Buyer to join their team. As a Buyer, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Although this is a 3 - 4 month temporary position, additional work may be available based on your attendance and performance. Job Title: Temporary Buyer Location: Gardiner, NY Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Pay Range: $20 - $30 per hour What's the Job? Manage purchasing processes to ensure timely procurement of goods and services. Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions. Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. What's Needed? Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
