Job Summary Responsible for overall operational strategy for the end to end supply chain operations. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization’s business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals. Job Description Core Responsibilities Build and develop a team with data driven execution in distribution and transportation with the ability to continuously improve customer experience. Manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) across commercial teams, planning, procurement, and field teams and liaison with executive leadership. Design, govern, and implement regional processes for transportation excellence processes that align with business objectives. Establish shared performance metrics with stakeholders to track cost, service, and quality, including, least landed cost, on-time delivery and other critical metrics. Manage the cost, quality and on time performance associated with package delivery. Develop deep understanding of the supply chain P&L and key cost drivers, including cost per unit, cost per mile, asset utilization, expedited freight cost and other key metrics. Develop, evolve and execute KPI’s that align with the current and future needs of the ISCO Supply Chain Participate in and support transportation and distribution related RFP process with procurement and other stakeholders. Drive modernization initiatives through automation, advanced analytics, on demand delivery and talent development to enhance agility and scalability. Support retail operations by optimizing store replenishment, delivery optimization, and backroom processes in partnership with Retail Operations. Collaborate and develop strong relationships with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Region field leadership teams to align priorities. Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across the “logistics center of excellence”. Manage and develop a growing team of 3-10 associates. Champion Comcast’s customer experience goals through initiatives such as same-day delivery, retail delivery standardization, 3rd Party deliveries to Comcast Spokes. Drive major supply chain transformation efforts and system-wide strategic initiatives. Implement advanced tools and processes to elevate planning performance and customer experience. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence. Evaluate the organization’s performance (KPIs) and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and safety regulations. Designs and communicates a compelling vision of what the organization will look like in the future and what it will be capable of, while providing guidance on the strategic initiatives that will ensure the organization accomplishes that vision. Ensure supplier performance meets supply chain strategy and goals. Partner with Procurement to apply segmentation techniques to design appropriate sourcing strategies. Accountable for risk mitigation plans to minimize impact of supply chain disruptions. Champion of sustainability plan for Supply Chain Operations. Partner with diverse internal and external key stakeholders to deliver critical business outcomes. Use customer and supply chain knowledge and relationships to identify service, cost and growth opportunities. Build a strategy around hiring, training and onboarding of new supply chain operations staff into the supply chain operations team. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
