IT Support Specialist --- ELM Home & Building Solutions are
currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of
Full-Time IT Support Specialist. The IT Support Specialist will be
an advocate of the IT department for the user community that can
diagnose and remediate computer hardware, software, and networking
problems. This position is a shared service and will support the
Englert, LeafGuard and MetalMan companies with a focus on Englert
and its respective technology. The IT Support Specialist will:
Function with autonomy, urgency, and professionalism within the
guidelines established by the organization. This individual must be
highly self-motivated and customer-centric; possesses good oral and
written communication skills; organizational and time management
skills with the ability to multi-task and be an advocate for all
the policies and protocols of the organization. Provide support to
end users for Mac, Windows, IOS and Android, including application,
system, device, access, and hardware issues. Identify, research,
and resolve basic technical problems. Ensure problem resolution
information is documented in a ticketing system. Support users at
multiple sites via a ticketing system, phone, email or in person.
Document, track, and monitor incidents using applicable systems and
tools. Triage and prioritize incidents accordingly. Coordinate with
other teams, departments, or vendors to resolve problems. Handle
user on-boarding and off-boarding, including account creations and
deactivations, commissioning and decommissioning of equipment
Provide support to end users on hardware and software applications
such as Office 365, OneDrive, OneNote, Microsoft Teams, audio/video
conferencing. Responsible for the installation, configuration, and
usability of all MACs, PCs, iPads, iPhones, Kiosks, Industrial
Scanners, VOIP Phones, peripheral equipment, and software.
Occasional travel may be required. Occasional weekend, after-hours/
on-call shifts will be required. Create and validate documentation
for new or existing processes. Desirable Qualifications: Experience
with MDM/EMM solutions such as SOTI, JAMF/Casper, Intune, etc.
Experience with Apple: iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, and Apple
Business/School Manager Experience with Microsoft: Windows 10,
Office 365, Azure, and Active Directory. Experience with Imaging
and mass deployments Experience with Android: Industrial Handheld
Scanners Experience with basic network troubleshooting and managed
printing Experience in the IT field for a minimum of 2 years.
Relevant Education: Associates Degree, Technical Degree,
Certification training (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) or equivalent.
