Job Description Job Summary : The Stockroom Associate will perform general inventory, shipping and receiving, incoming inspection, stocking labor including moving freight, stock, and other materials. Essential functions/Duties/Responsibilities Properly and accurately process PWO (Production Work Orders) kitting to allocate material to the manufacturing floor. Transports product and other materials by hand or by the use of carts to and from various locations. Perform periodic counts of inventory based on schedule set by the production manager. Prepare all outgoing packages for domestic and international shipping. Packs containers; repacks containers that are damaged. Perform quality control checks on incoming material, and issue returns and correction actions to vendors for any material received that is noncompliant. Training will be provided. Ensure common areas in shipping and receiving are clean and have all the necessary tools in their proper place. Must be skilled at data entry in excel and various web-based forms. Evaluate the organization of both the shipping/receiving area and the stockroom and propose improvements. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Ability to follow directions. Ability to handle product, materials and equipment in a responsible manner. Attention to detail. Highly organized. Excellent communication skills. Education and Experience: Experience safely using material handling equipment and devices highly preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
