As part of the team here, you'll ensure every product we sell online or in-stores is delivered on time and with quality, ensuring our customers are amazed and delighted with their selection. The Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day distribution center activities. - - -What you'll do: -Supervise production processes and workflowsProvide direction and leads distribution center associatesDelegate work accordinglyEnsure production standards and deadlines are metAssist with the interview and selection process for new associatesResponsible for teaching and training new associatesConduct performance evaluations and reviewsImplement corrective actions as necessaryWork with management to improve distribution center performanceTroubleshoot issues within the distribution centerPerform safety observations in conjunction with job observations to coach and counsel associates on proper safety proceduresPlay an active role in the participation of all safety programs and acts as a role model for all associatesServe a backup for other floor supervisors as necessaryParticipate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position -What you'll bring: -A minimum of 3 years of Distribution Center experienceEquipment certification as neededHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentKnowledge of Warehouse Management SystemComputer skills, proficiency with Google applications, MS Word & ExcelLeadership and team management skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communicationTime management and organizational skillsAbility to maintain a consistent teamwork mentalityBi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
