About the role: CHANEL is looking for a Repair Artisan to join our Fashion After Sales Team in Piscataway, NJ. You will play a leading role in completing high-quality repairs of client's items as well as stock pieces. This role interfaces with our Operations team and is a key partner for our boutiques. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-3 years of experience and a passion for craftsmanship. What impact you can create at CHANEL: Deliver a best-in-class craftsmanship for our clients Elevate the client experience and provide key support to the Boutique teamsContinue to elevate CHANEL's desire to deliver excellent customer service Hands on Technical Support of After Sales Service Repairs: Assess all incoming repairs for what is reparable and what will not further damage an item. Further perform identified repairs in a timely, professional manner.Listen to and work closely with stores to understand client requests, to determine the appropriate action plan dailyOnce trained to CHANEL standards, perform inspections of merchandise to determine authenticity and perform quality checks to determine what is reparable/irreparable, non - authentic and what harbors a potential quality issueAnalyze several factors including, but not limited to standard lead times, workshop workload, warranty status, and client status during the repair process to schedule and prioritize repair jobs dailyPossess decision making skills to triage repairs appropriatelyPerform the necessary systematic steps for the repairs (CASS/AX/MMS, etc.) Quality: Assist in coordination of quality recalls/alerts; return to vendors, processing credits, and destructions as neededClosely review and analyze sensitive quality issues; identify and escalate any product concerns, so that they can be further reviewed at a WW levelPartner with workshop manager on any quality-related issues to facilitate process for solution Training: Take part in trainings offered by Fashion After Sales, as needed for M----tier-specific topicsGlobal Artisan community participation for self-guided trainings and education to hone craft and advance skills under the CHANEL repair standardsParticipate in trainings related to craftsmanship of trade, where applicable Communication: Continuous communication with internal (FAS) and external (store partner) teams regarding Fashion repair inquiries on quality and technical expertise; provide clear, concise facts on repairs to support the delivery of a positive client experienceWork closely with US and Global partners, specifically regional repair associates You are energized by: Working in a highly collaborative environmentCollaborating with passionate teammatesThe opportunities that outstanding repairs capability can deliver in strengthening the brands relationship with the customer.Chanel fashion product and wider industry.
