Geriatrics
We are seeking a Geriatrician to join one of our adult primary care
practices.
Overview

Saint Peter's University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute
care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of
Metuchen. Saint Peter's brings the latest medical practices and
highly skilled professionals to the bedside. We employ more than
3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than
1,000 doctors and dentists are on staff at our hospital. We treat
more than 23,000 inpatients and more than 245,000 outpatients
yearly.
Geriatric Medicine at Saint Peter's offers:
--- Pain management
--- Minimally invasive surgery
--- Diabetes, mental health, and nutrition management
--- Orthopedic services, including hip resurfacing and knee
replacement
--- Wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for non-healing
chronic wounds
--- Geriatric Evaluation and Management Services (GEMS) for
assessment and care plan development for patients who suffer from
Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

Requirements:
--- Successful completion of an appropriate ACGME or AOA accredited
residency and/or fellowship.
--- MD or DO licensed in the State of New Jersey
--- Board-Certified or eligible in Geriatric Medicine
--- CDS and DEA license required
--- Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability
