lists. Overview The Director of Forecasting will be responsible for
completing forecasts across in-line and pipeline indications to
help shape commercial strategy for Insmed. This role will be a key
member of the Commercial Effectiveness team and will partner
closely with cross-functional collaborators (e.g., Marketing,
Sales, FP&A) to optimize estimation and articulation of the
commercial opportunity. This is a hands-on role that requires a
willingness to implement all aspects of forecasting, from modeling
through to helping craft a narrative. The position will be in
Bridgewater, NJ and may require some travel. Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining forecasting models in
Excel, with a primary focus on US forecasts across multiple
products and indications Collaborating closely with regional
Commercial Effectiveness teams to ensure consistency of forecast
assumptions across countries, when possible, and to ensure clear
messaging Helping with the consolidation of global forecasts and
maintaining an up-to-date view of key risks and opportunities in
the short, mid and long term Driving, and collaborating with the
analytics team, on analytical projects that will deliver high
quality business insights relevant to the forecasts! Integrating
secondary data analyses and primary market research insights
Assisting the Senior Director, Forecasting in the preparation and
delivery of forecast narrative to senior leaders Collaborating with
analytic teams on the tracking of product performance vs. forecast
expectations Working closely with vendor partners to identify
analogs and benchmarks to support forecast assumptions Staying
updated on market evolutions and dynamics relevant to Insmed
products/pipeline Qualifications: 6 years' experience in commercial
demand forecasting in pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare
consulting (related experience will be considered) Knowledge of
pharmaceutical data (e.g. sales, specialty pharmacy, payer,
promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data)
Strong technical skills combined with a sharp business insight
Experience with launches and commercialization of pharmaceutical
products (specialty drug/respiratory launch experience preferred)
Experience within the US market (experience with global markets
beneficial) Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or
related discipline MBA or other advanced degree (MS, PhD) preferred
Highly skilled in developing product forecasts, market assessments,
and competitive intelligence analyses Strong quantitative and
analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into
actionable insights Experience with secondary data [e.g., APLD
medical claims data, audited TRx data (IQVIA or Symphony Health),
and epidemiology references] High proficiency in MS Office
(Excel/PowerPoint) Experience with advanced analytical modeling
Agile great teammate; able to adapt and implement based on evolving
business needs, with strong active listening skills Strong verbal
and written communication skills Ability to work across cultures
Skilled at leading without authority in a cross-functional
environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention
to detail and accuracy Must successfully exhibit Insmed's five core

and culturally diverse workplace Salary Range $171,000 - $239,667 a
