manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize NGS library prep methods. Manage project
timeline and leverage internal resources to push project forward.
Generate, analyze, interpret and present data to a broader team.
Closely communicate with other teams to ensure smooth tech transfer
Requirements: Ph.D. degrees in molecular biology, biochemistry,
chemistry or related fields. > 3 years of relevant experience in
developing scalable NGS workflow in pharmaceutical and
biotechnology industry. Direct experience in designing customized
library preps across different high-throughput sequencing
platforms. (Illumina, ONT Broad molecular biology and microbiology
knowledge with the ability to apply scientific interpretation to
solve problems. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in using and
building both standard and customized bioinformatics pipeline.
Proficiency in at least one of the common programming languages
(Python, R, Java) Strong experience in analyzing biological
datasets and various file formats (FASTQ, BAM, VCF etc.) Strong
collaborative instinct with good time and resource management
